Our Chef: Executive Chef Kacie Ratner
Chef Kacie took over the position of The Mountain Terrace Executive Chef in 2010, having worked as the Sous Chef since 2007. She graduated Sigma Cum Laude from the California Culinary Academy, San Francisco and went to work at the San Francisco Chronicle in their Food and Wine department. While there, she worked on testing, creating, styling and writing for this critically acclaimed food publication. Chef Kacie's experience also includes leading cooking parties with ExecutiveChef! in addition to cooking for various catering companies in the Bay Area.
Always wanting to keep things innovative and fun, Kacie loves to encourage new ideas in her kitchen, as well as dance party breaks, usually to the endless stream of the Beatles - perfect cooking music.
